Our client is a major retailer that has launched a hypermarket transformation programme in a post-crisis context
The programme includes several initiatives:
- Implementation of new reception/service concepts
- Bricks-and-mortar development
- Redesign of the purchasing experience
- Redesign of the collection
- Back-office digitisation
The consultant was engaged to pilot and manage the acceleration of the implementation of the various initiatives
Procedural approach
- Setting up a Project Management Office in agile mode
- Process review and optimisation
- Design to cost approach (digital projects, new commercial concepts)
Results
- Mastery of the transformation trajectory, in a context of high pressure on results and a matrix organisation
- Launch of POCs
- Resource optimisation (management by one consultant vs consulting firms offering Director + Senior consultant system)
